Background
On February 1, 2024, Lizzy McAlpine announced the release of her first song of the year, "Older", which was released on February 13.[1] On the same day, the artist confirmed the release of her third studio album of the same name, and major-label debut,[2] set for release on April 5, 2024. "I Guess" was announced as the second single from the record on March 8, and was released five days later.[3] The track listing of the album was revealed on March 20 via McAlpine's social media accounts; it contains "I Guess" as the seventh track.[4]

[Verse 1]
Mujhe yaad hai wo din jab main aur mere day one's
The on the pavements, tryna get payments
Kabhi chhod ke gaye ni game hum
Now they wanna hate us just to get famous (Haa)
Inke gaane nahi chale, they blame us (Blame us)
Jaise khud lachaar ye bebas (Bebas)
Mangi nahi help, no favours
Aaj dhanteras, bought a new stainless (Skkrt)
Achanak se bane ye lyrical, kuch saal pehle commercial the mic par (Haa)
I can rap circles around these clowns par karta nahi rap in cyphers (Brrr)
Ye touch hai midas, drill ki vibe par, got more bars than lifers
(Wooh)
Inhe lag raha ye paisa kama rahe hai boht but i'm blowing these bags like pipers (Haa)
Jab KR$NA drops lage occasion
Mera dhyaan hai kaam pe hum bolte kam
Mera daam hai chand pe, lo quotation
Jab aamne saamne - no location (Yeah)
Ab le re ye shots, they miss me (Miss me)
Isse lag raha ye hype hai diss ki (Diss ki)
Jaake kar le diss, you still won’t be shit
Haan hogi ni hype kabhi iski (No)
Mujhe pata inhe hori hai tension (Tension)
Mujh se kyun inhe hogayi obsession? (Obsession)
Buss chahiye inhe thodi attention (Attention)
Par karoo na story pe mention
[Chorus]
Jab puchre yahan kaun hai best (Best)
It's me I guess (It's me I guess)
Jab puchre opps kyun stress
It's me I guess (Me I guess)
Jab puchre yahan kaun hai best (Best)
It's me I guess (It's me I guess)
Jab puchre opps kyun stress
It's me I guess
[Verse 2]
Inki saalon se jali thi
Mera level hai upar toh ham me na kareebi (Naa)
Mujhe mili yahan badi jeet
Beef ke baad ye saare kyun banjate Arijit (Aaaa)
